Statement of Faith

  1. The God of Israel is the one and only God. Deuteronomy 6:4; Zechariah 14:9.
  2. Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah and God manifest in the flesh. John 1:1-14; Colossians 2:9.
  3. Salvation is only by grace through faith in Yeshua’s atoning death and resurrection. Ephesians 2:4-6; Acts 4:10-12.
  4. The Spirit of God indwells each person who accepts Salvation. Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 12:3.
  5. Mankind is sinful; we are unable to save ourselves. Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8.
  6. The Bible (from Genesis to Revelation) is God’s Word. It is inspired, inerrant and infallible. It is the ultimate sole authority over our lives. Proverbs 30:5; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Matthew 5:17-18.
  7. God is unchanging and His words are eternal. Isaiah 40:7-8; Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8; Matthew 24:35.
  8. Yeshua came to live out the fullness of the Torah (Law), not abolish it. Matthew 5:17-18; Isaiah 42:4.
  9. The commandments of Torah are relevant for all believers, both Jewish and Gentile. Following the Torah is part of our discipleship to Yeshua. We keep the Torah because we are saved, not to attain salvation. (This includes the Sabbath, Biblical festivals and dietary laws.) Matthew 5:19; John 14:15; 1 John 2:3-6; Revelation 14:12.
  10. The people of Israel, the Jewish people, are God’s chosen people. God will never abandon them or replace them with another people. Romans 11:1; Jeremiah 31:33-37.
  11. Non-Jewish believers in Messiah Yeshua are grafted into Israel. They do not replace Israel or become Jewish, but are full participants in the covenants of promise. Romans 11:11-21; Ephesians 2:11-22.
  12. Yeshua is returning to earth to reign on David’s throne in Jerusalem. All nations will be subservient to His kingship. Revelation 19-20; Acts 1:11; Zechariah 14.
